The poem is dedicated to the feat of our people in the formidable and difficult years of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Victory in the Great Patriotic War is a matter of great national pride. She not only brought freedom, she showed the clearest examples of heroism and patriotism, unity and camaraderie. At the cost of colossal sacrifices, examples of incredible courage and boundless love for their Motherland, our people survived and saved their Fatherland from fascism. The Great Patriotic War must be remembered, the memory of the dead must be passed on from generation to generation, of those who, at the cost of their lives, allowed all of us to be born into this world and live in our country as free people.
