CrossFit is a physical training that combines elements of various sports and fitness such as strength training equipment, aerobic exercise, gymnastics, running, climbing ropes, jumping, etc. The goal of CrossFit is to improve overall fitness, increase endurance, strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.

CrossFit workouts are done in intense sessions, usually lasting from 30 minutes to an hour, that consist of a variety of exercises and combinations of exercises called "workouts". Training participants can work individually or in groups, under the supervision of qualified trainers.

  2. Muscle strain. Due to the high intensity of training and the frequent strain on the muscles, participants may experience muscle strain problems and muscle-related illnesses if sufficient recovery time is not given.
  3. Participation restrictions. Some people, especially those with health issues or physical limitations, may be limited in their ability to participate in CrossFit.
  4. High stress on the cardiovascular system. Due to the intensity of the training, which may include high-intensity aerobic exercise, participants may experience high cardiovascular stress.
  5. The ambiguity of the competition. In CrossFit competition, there can be some degree of ambiguity about how competitors are scored and which rules to apply.
  6. Price. As a rule, CrossFit workouts are held in specialized studios and require certain equipment, which may be associated with additional costs.
